PGL Bucharest 2026: Official Opening Schedule and Tournament Format

Top Counter-Strike 2 players and teams are set to compete at the PGL Bucharest event in Romania. The tournament officially kicks off on April 4th, with matches scheduled to begin this Saturday. For those eager to know the initial matchups, here is the opening schedule:

  • FUT Esports vs. Inner Circle Esports
  • B8 vs. Wildcard
  • The MongolZ vs. BC.Game Esports
  • Parivision vs. Legacy
  • 3DMax vs. Fokus
  • NRG vs. Team Voca
  • Astralis vs. MiBR
  • FaZe Clan vs. Eyeballers

The tournament will span just over a week, commencing with an initial group stage where 16 teams will be narrowed down to eight qualifiers. The group stage features a dynamic structure where each round’s pairings are reseeded. To advance to the playoffs, a team must secure three victories. This can be achieved by winning the first three matches for a swift qualification, or by battling through to a 3-2 record. Conversely, any team accumulating three losses will be eliminated from the competition.

Once the playoffs commence, the format will switch to a single-elimination bracket, ensuring no second chances and high stakes for every match.

Will you be tuning in to PGL Bucharest this weekend?
