Hades II: New Features and Romantic Scenes in Update
The second post-launch patch for Hades II, and the first major update since its release on Xbox and PlayStation, has arrived. This is a substantial update, adding more narrative content, early buffs and nerfs, as well as a few extra details that might draw players who have completed the game back to the Crossroads Camp.
Among the highlights, we immediately see that two new story scenes have been added to the game, tied to the Prophecies of Odysseus and Arachne, who receive an additional scene once they have been concluded. Furthermore, you can now indefinitely gift Bath Salts, Twin Lures, or Ambrosia to characters at the Crossroads, which in some cases allows for new dialogue scenes with them.
If you’re playing Hades II for romance as much as for the roguelite, the new update has a boon for you, as it allows ‘characters with whom Melinoë can pursue non-platonic relationships’ to ‘manifest their interest in continuing such relationships.’ Players also have plenty of other things to discover, such as alternative forms for animal companions, decorative items in the training grounds, and additional surprises.
