Nivalis Rebrands as Nivalis Nights, Set for September 29 Release

Initially revealed in 2021, Nivalis, the life simulator developed by Ion Lands (the creators of Cloudpunk), was anticipated to launch relatively soon. However, a period of silence led many to believe it might have fallen victim to the industry’s current challenges. Fortunately, this is not the case. Nivalis has resurfaced under the new title Nivalis Nights, confirming its PC release on Steam for September 29th. It will also be available on the Epic Games Store at a slightly later date.

“As an independent studio, developing this game has presented us with unprecedented challenges, and we are immensely grateful to our community for their patience over the past five years,” stated Marko Dieckmann, Creative Director at ION LANDS. “Today, we are thrilled to finally confirm our official release date and eagerly await players diving into the game, meeting Ava, and experiencing the city’s quirky charm.”

In Nivalis Nights, you step into the role of a noodle stand assistant in a dystopian metropolis characterized by neon lights and endless rainy nights. Your journey will involve transforming a humble, unassuming small business into a formidable commercial empire, all while uncovering the secrets of a city that never sleeps. Alternatively, if the corporate ladder isn’t your ambition, you can simply wander the vibrant streets and decorate your apartment, situated high above the clouds.
