Sequels are becoming a norm, and it’s no surprise that Practical Magic is following suit. This coming September, the highly anticipated follow-up to the original 1998 film will be released, titled Practical Magic 2.
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman will reprise their roles as the Owens sisters, facing a sinister threat to their family that will require them to utilize their unique skills and magical abilities.
Penned by Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchett, and directed by Susanne Bier, Practical Magic 2 also boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Joining Bullock and Kidman are Lee Pace, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Xolo Mariduena, Solly McLeod, Stockard Channing, and Dianne Wiest.
The film is slated for a premiere on September 11th. A teaser trailer and the official synopsis have been released:
