Splatoon Raiders Set to Enhance Nintendo Switch 2 Lineup Next July

Looking for more reasons to get your hands on the Switch 2 this summer? Nintendo has some exciting news you won’t want to miss.

Following the releases of Yoshi and the mysterious book in May, July will introduce Splatoon Raiders, offering a fresh adventure in the beloved, ink-splattered series.

Described as a “single-player focused game,” Splatoon Raiders tasks players with becoming a mechanic working alongside the musical trio Deep Cut. Your mission: venture deep into the Spirhalite Islands to confront the Salmonids while hunting for treasure. You can get a good look at this in action in the game’s new trailer.

Additionally, Nintendo has unveiled a new amiibo set to launch concurrently with Splatoon Raiders, featuring the members of Deep Cut: Frye, Shiver, and Big Man. Their appearance is also showcased in the trailer.

Nintendo explicitly states that while Splatoon Raiders is primarily a solo adventure, it does support both online and local multiplayer for up to three additional players.

Mark your calendars: Splatoon Raiders will debut on the Switch 2 on July 23, 2026. Pre-orders are available starting today. A wealth of new in-game screenshots has also been shared.
